It was really cold and I tried moving around or adjusting myself different ways in the sun to get warm... it didn't really work. I tried cranking that drill thing (can't remember what it's called) to warm myself up as well. It was tough and it warmed me up a bit but the warmth never reached my poor little toes. I gave up after a while and had to go defrost my toes in the car. And that was where I fell asleep. I think next time I go I will take some of those toe warmers!

Have you ever been ice fishing?
We went ice fishing early this morning with Steven. It was fun but COLD! We each got a bite... and that was about it except Chip caught one and we thought it was huge... he pulled it up and it was just this little guy with a funny looking hump right behind his head! He was a cute little guy. We tossed him back in.

Becky I must congratulate you on being a more active blogger. It is fun to hear from you more often. I feel more connected. My toes got cold just thinking about ice fishing. I guess your toes have lost resistance to cold that they developed on your mission. Love ya,
Mandy
Fun, I found your blog! Umm..I have to tell you that ice fishing looks NO fun. As a recently converted California girl, I would be happy to never see snow again!
I loved ice fishing when I was a little kid, but I dont know now how much fun it would be.
I am glad you had a good time despite the cold.
