changing my ways

So... I'm not a big reader. I've always wanted to be and now that I'm not in classes I feel like I can give it a shot. My institute teacher shared a piece of Les Miserables with us in my institute class as an example of repentance and I got such a huge desire to start reading it. The next day I went to the library and picked it up - the abridged version of course. I am LOVING it so far! I think this is going to be a great way to start off my new life as a reader!

YAY!!! I know how you learned the importance of libraries!!!
I looooove Les Miserables! I *heart* Jean ValJean!! I would reccomend the movie with Liam Neeson, there is one or two parts you could probably live without though. Maybe you could find a cleanflix version?

Also, other good books:

The Gaurdian - Nicholas Sparks
Wish You Well - David Baldacci
Speak - Laurie Anderson
The Glory Series - Jodi Lynn
er...
Fig Pudding - Ralph Fletcher

I also have some lists of some good books on my blog:

I love reading too but never can get enough of it done in my spare time. I am always so tired that I just fall asleep 2 minutes into a book. Good for you though.

Why Hello Chex!! Sorry, I don't have your email, so I am writing to you on here. :) Ryan and I miss you guys. How are things at the Village? We are planning to have a little get together this Saturday for Halloween if you guys aren't busy we would love for you to come up. Seth and Jenny might ride frontrunner up. Let us know if you guys can make it.

P.S. on the book front. I love Stephenie Meyer as well. She has another book called "The Host" that is really good.

Also, I love Dan Brown, all of his books are good.

I love good books (especially the classics) and I love getting book recommends. I like the idea of reading the abrigded version, so you've inspired me to try it. Jane Austen is another author you might like.
