little hattie was a hotdog for halloween.  she was the cutest hotdog i have ever seen!
we thought about trying to make her a long-legged person like this but the hotdog just worked better
halloween was so fun!  we got to go trick-or-treating with the sugus.

i loved this picture of hattie.  look at her little hands.  and she's all nestled up in her papa's neck.
On halloween we also got to go the the Temple with chip's family to seal Dale (chip's dad) to his parents and his sister (who are all three deceased).  That was such a wonderful experience!  For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, as members of the LDS church, we believe that in the Temple we can be "sealed" by the power of God to our family members, making it possible to be with them throughout eternity.  (click here for a non-intrusive, clear and simple explanation)
we went to a party dressed like this and won a prize (a toilet scrubber... we actually needed one so it worked out great!)
hattie eating grass and delighted to be doing so.
