we're so glad we live by grandma!! and the beach! omi loves both.
so, our little hattie is 3! we had a mini-minnie party for her at the park. it was cute to see the little kids running around with their mickey and minnie ears on.

one of the things hattie was most excited about was drinking pink "dizzy" (i think somewhere along the line she changed "fizzy" for soda into "dizzy") (i think it's SO cute! i love when she asks for "dizzy")

i've been anxiously waiting to post these pictures from our catalina trip! i had to wait for some space on our computer to download the pictures. it was so dreamy! chip surprised us with tickets that he got from groupon. it was so fun!
the top of our hike. so gorgeous!!!! we could see both sides of the island. we were in flip.flops. i was in a dress. chip was carrying both girls. (one on front, one on back) it was just funny to see the other people that reached the top with their hiking gear and camelbaks. 
we found the most heavenly spot on the island! it's a swing on the top of a cliff that overlooks the little town avalon and the ocean. and don't worry it's not as cliffy as it looks:) it was so fun and magical!

Happy b-day Hattie! Looked like fun :) I love the pic of her on that swing....so cool! Looks like you guys are doing good. It would be good to see you all again. Maybe this summer??!!

Love the update. Chip is a trooper carrying babies on BOTH sides! And you for hiking in a skirt and flips! But that pic on the swing makes my tummy do flip-flops of worry...
those pictures are fantastic!!! I wish we would've had time to do the catalina trip...next time:) So Sad we missed Hatties Party.
